daily juice report - trading one cooper flagg for another
We are gonna make today’s report really quick, because in all honesty - not much interesting happened. Cameron Boozer showed OUT for Duke last night, scoring 26 points on 80% shooting. We were all expecting a blowout from Duke against NC State. Boozer may as well be handed the #1 pick in the draft this year after Dybantsa’s recent interview. All props to the kid, I expected nothing else from a BYU athlete to be honest. If you haven’t heard, he’s considering forfeiting a guaranteed top 3 draft spot to get his degree. If he does, then Boozer’s a lock. If I were Duke’s coaching staff, I’d hate to lose another coming of Cooper Flagg early - but they’ll just get another next year.
Now to talk about juicing in a whole different away - Jurickson Profar. What a fucking idiot man, I can’t get over it. This is the SECOND time in the last year he’s been caught by the MLB, now issued a full season suspension and is being withheld his $15 million salary. I mean come on man; you had breakout seasons with the Padre’s and half a season or so with the Braves. Eyes were all on you, and you fucked up. And then you did it again. Have a shred of respect for the game you play man - he needs to be straight up cut. I don’t know why the players association is even trying to appeal it, it’s just disappointing. I’d be throwing shit if I were a Braves fan. no doubt. Missing a killer DH for a full season hurts.
Talk about disappointing, Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray has been released. The former 2019 #1 pick had a very strong start to his career. but that ACL tear was just tough man. Coing back to being no better than Jacoby Brissett is a hard reality. It’s not to say he can’t ever be successful on another team - the Vikings could really use a player like him for a season or so to help McCarthy grow. OR who knows, maybe that play-style will help him have a drive longer than 60 yards every once in a while.
Not much as far as news, and honestly nothing super exciting - but some crazy shit nonetheless. I really though Arizona was just going to ride Kyler into the ground.
