daily juice report - Wilt’s in trouble
What a quiet 24 hours in the sports world, I have barely anything to talk about today.
The biggest thing to happen last night was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander making genuine NBA history. 127 straight NBA games with 20+ points recorded. Jokic said it best in an interview, “I don’t think people understand how hard that is.” Do you know hard it is to get your flowers from Nikola Jokic? It’s damn near impossible; the dude is angry literally 24/7. I think it’s safe to say that the era of “untouchable Wilt Chamberlain records” is probably over, especially if Bam Adebayo of all people was able to put up 83 points in a game. Players are consistently having 40-60 point nights nowadays; I wouldn’t be surprised if one of these new-generation talents (cough.. Knueppel.. cough) were able to overtake it down the line. That’s a really hot take though. Either way, incredible performance by Shai and congrats to him for cementing his name in history (if he hadn’t already).
Another incredible performance came from Luka Doncic last night as the Lakers beat the Bulls 142-130.
51 Points - 10 Rebounds - 9 Assists - 9 3PM - 3 Steals - 1 Block
What kind of superhuman performance was this?? It was funny too because when he was asked about the triple-double, he completely blamed that shit on Rui Hachimura.
“It was Rui’s fault, he missed the shot on purpose”
Not much else to talk about today, hopefully something crazy happens tonight or it’s going to be a slow weekend.
Check out our predictions for the World Baseball Classic Quarterfinals starting tonight!
