Daily Juice Report - The bills always want moore
Okay let’s kick off our Daily Juice Report with another MASSIVE NFL move - WR DJ Moore has been sent to the Buffalo Bills. After getting shoved around Chicago’s developing playstyle, he finally sees a clear path to WR1 with Buffalo. The Bears absolutely took him for granted, or maybe I have him overrated because Odunze and Loveland both had pretty solid seasons. Still though, some games it seemed like Caleb Williams was actively trying not to pass him the ball. The Bears also gave up a 5th round pick with Moore and came away with a 2nd-rounder. In the Bears’ POV they gave up a WR2 and got a nice pick at their disposal to go in whatever direction. The Bills are looking nice though now, with a powerhouse roster. Sure, they don’t have a STAR WR, but they have plenty of explosive and young developing talent in that department. Mixed with the absolute terror that James Cook and Josh Allen cause on the field, there’s no reason why Allen can’t actually lead this team past the conference finals. Either way, Bills football just got more fun.
Some more exciting news, JAYSON TATUM IS MAKING HIS COMEBACK! Look, I’m sorry - I’m a Celtics fan, and I’m fucking amped. You’re saying we’re 2nd in the East and right as the playoff picture is shaping up, a 6x All-Star is making his way back into the starting rotation? Yeah he’s coming back from injury, yeah he’s corny as hell, but this is the type of momentum that will carry us to the ECF. And now, we finally have a good chance against all east teams - Detroit and New York had me worried. It could be as soon as Friday night we see the young man back on the court.
Lastly, the World Baseball Classic started last night and I’m realizing I never covered projections or anything of the sort. Let’s call some quick shots while we still can. Personally, I put money on Japan to take it home - but that was more of a probability vs. value bet. Realistically I do think the U.S have the best chance - their pitching staff is absolutely loaded. Let’s start with the group-stage and we’ll go from there. Group A - Canada and Puerto Rico (Winner) to advance. Group B - USA (Winner) and Mexico to advance. Group C - Korea and Japan (Winner) to advance. Pool D - Dominican Republic (Winner) and Venezuela. Two things I will say are do NOT sleep on Australia or Netherlands. If you’re looking for a couple Dark Horses, those are them. We’ll check back in on these soon and see how we did, but for now - let’s enjoy the best baseball in the world before the MLB season kicks off.
